ABOUT ME

I am a traveling personal trainer based out of north Atlanta who specializes in working with individuals who have orthopedic injuries. I have a personal training certification and also an orthopedic exercise specialist certificate from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). I graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science in 2009. Since then I have worked in corporate health, commercial health and physical therapy. I gained a lot of my knowledge about orthopedic injuries during the 3 years I worked as a rehabilitation technician at the largest orthopedic practice in the southeast where I assisted physical therapists in the treatment of hundreds of people suffering from orthopedic injuries and recovering from orthopedic surgery. During that time I became an expert in injuries involving the shoulders, knees, ankles, neck and back. Because of my experience in physical therapy and personal training I am able to provide a unique approach to exercise. I can provide my clients with programs to improve their overall health while also preventing reinjury and helping recovery from injuries. Many of my clients are people just like you who are currently or have recently been treated by an orthopedist or physical therapist. I can help facilitate your transition back into an exercise program or activities that were done pre-injury while still maintaining the goals you set with your doctor or physical therapist. I strive to help others in continuing or building a healthier life and this is what I do best. I am not a drill sergeant or the type of trainer who will yell and verbally abuse you. We will work together in your journey to improve your health in a safe, considerate and effective way.

RESISTANCE & CARDIOVASCULAR TRAINING

I use strength and cardiovascular training to help improve the overall function of your body. Resistance training will help increase muscle tone and strength while also creating a more durable body that will last you a lifetime. Cardiovascular training included with the resistance training will allow your heart and organs to function better while also decreasing your risks of many diseases.

PREVENTATIVE EXERCISE

Whether you have had an injury in the past or are concerned with future injuries, I am here to help. We can create a program specific to your goals and needs that will help strengthen the supporting structures around your joints and greatly decrease the risk of injury. No matter what your goals are we will always include preventative exercise to make sure we keep you going and progressing at a pace and success you can feel and see.

RECOVERY

Coming back to exercise from an injury or from surgery can be difficult. Fear of re-injury is always a legitimate concern. Having a qualified professional like myself assess your current fitness and create a program specific to the activities you would like to do again will help speed your recovery and prevent re-injury. It is what I do and why I am the best choice for a truly personalized training experience.

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING

Creating an exercise program specific to the type of activities you participate in is crucial to the success of your program. After a thorough assessment by me, we create goals individually tailored to your needs to make sure the exercise program is specific to you, to meet your expectations.

SINGLE

$80 per session or $700 for pack of 10 sessions

BUDDY (2 PEOPLE)

$120 per session or $1100 for pack of 10 sessions

GROUP (3 OR MORE PEOPLE)

$50 per session per person, inquire for pack of 10 sessions
